Excellency,

We bring to your urgent attention these consequential illegal actions by Israel, the occupying Power, which require the international community, particularly the Security Council, to speak with one voice in condemning and take the necessary actions to end these grave breaches of the law which threaten the achievement of peace through the two-State solution on the basis of the 1967 borders. If continued unabated these plans will make permanent an Apartheid regime consisting of one State with two segregated legal systems further threatening international peace and security. 23 August 2013 – Israeli Settlement Expansion and Other International Law Violations Threaten Prospects for Peace

Excellency,

Despite the efforts aimed at salvaging the two-State solution and reviving negotiations Israel, the occupying Power, continues its illegal settlement activities throughout the land of the State of Palestine and continues other provocative and illegal actions that signal yet again Israel’s rejection of the path of peace and its stratagem for occupation, annexation and domination of the Palestinian people. Illegal actions by the Israeli occupying forces and extremist Israeli settlers continue to highlight Israel’s true stance regarding the two-State solution and its infinite attempts to squander it.

13 August 2013- Continuation of the Israeli Settlement Campaign

Excellency,

Regrettably, Israel, the occupying Power, has continued its illegal settlement activities throughout the land of the State of Palestine, confirming to the international community yet again Israel’s rejection of the path of peace, and confirming its desire to maintain the status as an occupying Power. Settlement activities have continued since the parties reached an agreement to resume negotiations after extensive efforts by the international community, particularly the United States, which were announced in Washington on 30 July 2013.
